Gregg to Commerce

Politico.com is reporting "Newman would likely caucus with Republicans, but conservative New Hampshire Republicans fret that she would vote less like the conservative Gregg and his former colleague John Sununu and more like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins, the two centrist Republicans who represent Maine in the Senate."
Is there anybody who hasn't had the bipartisan kool-aid? Gregg is a conservative? This is of little consolation. The naivete being revealed is revolting.

Judd Gregg, Snowe, Jeffords, et al

Does he think that he's going to change Democratic or bureaucratic hearts and minds as SecComm as Cohen supposedly tried to do as SecDef? Or act as some firewall?
The only possible impact he could hope to have is try to prevent another Loral type transfer of critical defense technology to the People's Republic of China (no not Cambridge) or beat down the global warming zombies. Snowe seems not to be blinded by Obama's presence in the capitol city, so far. They all appear to be oblivious to or not concerned about a filibuster proof Senate for at least the next two years. It is either starstruck naivete of a President (let alone Sun King Obama) handing them a higher calling or thinking they can somehow make a difference in this supposed team of rivals. At any rate, it's just more pathetic baby boomers with no principled existence in this life.
What is Jeffords doing these days mumbling to himself while milking cows? This reminds me of what these Rino's are really thinking in regards to the party faithful: the great ignorant, perhaps racist, perhaps communist witchhunting unwashed. There must be some virtual reality helmet each moderate republican senator has the Dems weld to their head when they arrive in D.C. that causes them to "finally open their eyes and see what the Republicans really stand for". Maybe its just the Dems, Dem bureaucracy unionists, & Dem media sensory deprivation tank that is and has been D.C. that re-educates them to lose faith with what they previously believed in or never believed in the first place.
At least Norm Mineta was a pro america Dem military vet and a reasonable individual from what I've read. Still a Dem after the FDR internment camps, very interesting.
